Catalina Maple
The legendary maple shells from GRETSCH DRUMS have always been world-famous ("The Gretsch Formula"). To make this sound accessible to even more drummers, the Catalina Maple series was designed. It offers the most affordable maple set of the entire Gretsch product line, which scores with the fresh and modern design of the Catalina hardware and other high-quality features:
The seven-ply maple shells have a GRETSCH-typical 30° bearing edge on which stable 2.3 mm steel tension hoops rest. Slim 2-point "low-profile" tom suspensions and REMO® heads mounted as standard give the drums a fantastic and unmistakable sound character. Catalina Maple sets are available in two different configurations and a total of four finishes.

Catalina Club
Less space, more sound, low price.
The Catalina Club series was really new territory for the Gretsch brand in its early days, because for the first time Gretsch drums were produced outside the USA and for the first time mahogany wood was used. But the enormous success of these models proves the developers at Gretsch right. The series combines traditional configurations and the classic GRETSCH sound with sleek and modern hardware. The foundation is formed by the seven-ply shells with 30° bearing edge, which, in combination with the REMO® heads, fitted as standard, give every drum set a warm and powerful vintage tone. Catalina Club sets are available in three different configurations and a total of seven finishes.

Energy
The GRETSCH Energy series offers the perfect entry-level instruments for the next generation.
The seven-ply poplar shells have a typical Gretsch 30° bearing edge, on which 1.6 mm steel hoops rest. In combination with the REMO® heads fitted as standard, the sets sound really impressive for this price range.
Naturally, there is a choice of different colors and all the important equipment variants: different shell sizes and hardware packages through to a complete starter package including stool and PAISTE 101 cymbal set.
With Gretsch Energy, you're on the right track right from the start.

Hardware
After the then relatively young company Gretsch Drums introduced its first own hardware line in 1912 (stands and pedals with rather simple features and functions), this area was not pursued for a long time (we are talking about more than 100 years).
But Gretsch fans all over the world wanted to equip their beloved kit with the appropriate hardware as well and regularly brought this wish to the developers in Ridgeland/South Carolina.
This call can now finally be answered, because Gretsch introduced its own hardware again in 2018 with the G3 and G5 series, adapted to the needs of the modern drum world.
The G3 models are lightweight and equipped with simpler features. The perfect material for entry-level or second setups.
In contrast, the G5 series offers much heavier, stable professional hardware that meets all requirements on tour or in the studio.
Both series include cymbal stands with and without booms, hi-hat and snare stands, bass drum pedals, all individually or as a set, as well as a double tom holder in the G5 series. The range is rounded off by the matching drum stool.
A good choice for everyone, indispensable for Gretsch fans.
