In the Lightweight series, there is no need for time-consuming tuning with rope or mechanics. The instruments, most of which are fitted with SYMPATICO™ heads, are pre-tuned or have an internal tuning system.

Traditional

The congas and bongos of the TOCA Traditional series combine contemporary technology with the essence of time-honored Afro-Cuban construction methods, combined with a strikingly traditional look.

The instruments are based on double-ply shells made of sustainably harvested wood, with fine hardware made of brushed nickel and classic tension hoops with extended collars, which high quality natural heads rest on.

Master

The Master Series djembes represent the top class of the traditional, West African TOCA range.

Each drum is handcrafted from a single piece of sustainably grown mahogany wood. The high quality goatskin drumhead guarantees even tuning, thanks to a particularly tightly woven Alpine lacing.

To guarantee lasting enjoyment of this valuable instrument, each TOCA Master Djembe comes with a sturdy, padded carrying case.

Origins

The djembes of the TOCA Origins series combine traditional craftsmanship with modern methods of instrument making.

Each drum is turned from a single piece of sustainably grown mahogany wood, resulting in the exceptionally uniform wall thickness of the shell. For subsequent finishing touches, the overtone-reducing notches inside the shell, the bearing edge, and of course the beautiful carvings on the outside are all cut by hand.

In addition to the remarkable designs, high-quality natural heads and consistent rope tension complete the traditional look.

Black Mamba

Each djembe in the Black Mamba series is traditionally handcrafted from a single piece of sustainably grown mahogany wood.

Both the shell and the hand-selected goatskin skins are finished in sophisticated black, which accentuates the remarkable body decorations particularly well. Uniform rope tension is provided by sturdy Alpine tensioning cords.

The instruments of the Black Mamba series are each delivered with a head protector and a lavishly equipped Pro Bag.

Synergy

The TOCA Synergy series is the first choice for all who are looking for affordable congas and bongos for the entry level but do not want to make difficult compromises in sound and quality.

The two-ply wooden shells of the basic line, in combination with quality natural heads, provide an optimal price/performance ratio.

The Synergy Deluxe variants provide an upgrade with REMO® Fiberskyn heads and chrome-plated tension hoops that makes professional features affordable even for those who want to take their first steps in the world of music.

Each djembe of the TOCA Street Series is traditionally handcrafted from a single piece of sustainably grown mahogany wood.

In addition to the beautiful carvings on the outside of the shell, high-quality natural skins and even rope tension complete the traditional look.

Freestyle

The TOCA Freestyle series is exciting, modern and accessible to all.

All instruments are made of plastic, which makes them extremely light, but also durable and weatherproof.

The heads, made of animal skin (Freestyle) or plastic (Freestyle II), can be tuned using classic rope tension or modern mechanics, depending on the model.

The core of the series is a wide selection of djembes in all variations.

With head diameters of 9", 10", 12" and 14", all important sizes are available. This range is supplemented by special 7" versions, which are particularly popular wherever many drums are needed in a small space. The designs cover every taste, regardless of whether you personally prefer a simple or colorful look.

In addition, the range has been expanded by popular demand to include various drum types such as the doumbek, djunjun or talking drum.
