After the then relatively young company Gretsch Drums introduced its first own hardware line in 1912 (stands and pedals with rather simple features and functions), this area was not pursued for a long time (we are talking about more than 100 years).

But Gretsch fans all over the world wanted to equip their beloved kit with the appropriate hardware as well and regularly brought this wish to the developers in Ridgeland/South Carolina.

This call can now finally be answered, because Gretsch introduced its own hardware again in 2018 with the G3 and G5 series, adapted to the needs of the modern drum world.

The G3 models are lightweight and equipped with simpler features. The perfect material for entry-level or second setups.

In contrast, the G5 series offers much heavier, stable professional hardware that meets all requirements on tour or in the studio.

Both series include cymbal stands with and without booms, hi-hat and snare stands, bass drum pedals, all individually or as a set, as well as a double tom holder in the G5 series. The range is rounded off by the matching drum stool.

A good choice for everyone, indispensable for Gretsch fans.

GRETSCH DRUMS are legendary and innovative at the same time; GRETSCH is responsible for numerous developments that have played and continue to play a significant role in the construction of modern drumsets.

The top American brand offers the right drum set for every target group: beginner or professional, jazz or rock, live or studio, modern or traditional.

The company's 135-year history began in 1883 in the Brooklyn borough of New York. From here on, GRETSCH advanced to become a pioneer in the development and manufacture of percussion instruments until the 1950s and 1960s. And even today, the hype around "That Great Gretsch Sound" is unbroken, which is clearly reflected in the diversity of users on the world's stages.
