What do you associate with music?

Music lets us dive into another world and forget time and space. From the very first bar, it has been my aim to use this power of music and to send music lovers, listeners, and my fellow musicians on a journey of sound. Music was already my main priority when I was young. Even today, passion, joy of playing and emotions are very important to me as a person and musician.

As a drum teacher, you pass on all these elements to your students. How do GEWA digital drums help you?

E-drums give me the opportunity to familiarise my students with another dimension of drumming. They offer the chance to introduce the student to different genres and tunings in simple steps and give the student first experiences in sound editing, mixing and effects. Finally, for those who don't have the opportunity to practise with an acoustic kit, it offers the chance to learn about the possibilities of E-drums on the kit itself.

What is your experience of GEWA Digital Drums?

You teach at two locations in Bavaria. What makes you and your teaching different?

I teach in Beilngries and Laaber (Regensburg district). It has always been important to me to be individual and not to have a boring curriculum. I am always open to new things and give every student the opportunity to become the best version of themselves at their own pace.
